Our Exprience

Our company is led by Rodgerick Williams, MSHA

Rodgerick began his career in healthcare as an Army Combat Medic, Emergency Medical Technician and Medical Specialist. Before that, Rodgerick was a 3rd generation residential, commercial and industrial electrician, which allows him to assist with reductions in facility maintenance. Rodgerick’s first full time clinical job in a civilian hospital was in surgery as an anesthesia technician where he assisted certified registered nurse anesthetist, anesthesiologist and surgeons in cases. He prepared the anesthesia machine and patient monitor for surgery, ordered drugs and supplies and assisted in patient transport.

He assisted with C-sections in labor and delivery as well. After five years of this Rodgerick went back Active duty with the military, this time switching from the Army to the Air Force in an effort to get training in medical equipment repair. Rodgerick had a desire to know how the anesthesia machines, patient monitors and all of the other equipment he used in surgery worked. After graduating from the Department of Defense Biomedical Equipment Repair Training Course, Rodgerick had additional training at Keesler Air Force Base and was deployed to assist with medical support during Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. In the Army, Rodgerick was also deployed to Germany and conducted a humanitarian mission in the jungles outside of El Cuco El Salvador after Hurricane Mitch. Rodgerick’ military training for MASH units has been very beneficial to hundreds of medical facilities with the emergent strategies required due to the fast pace demanded by COVID-19. Rodgerick worked as a ventilator, surgery and anesthesia biomedical equipment technician before becoming a patient monitoring specialist after learning how to perform component level repairs on patient monitoring and telemetry systems. Rodgerick went on to get an associates degree in business from Tulsa Community College, began Business and International Business at OSU-Tulsa before being promoted to Division Director of Biomedical Engineering, which led to him finishing his bachelors degree in Healthcare Management at UAB and then a Master’s of Science in Health Administration at UAB. Rodgerick also taught healthcare strategy at UAB, which concentrated on strategic planning, SWOT analysis, business plans, and marketing plans. Rodgerick became a National Director of Biomedical Engineering over three companies covering over 500 medical organizations simultaneously where he approved all repairs over $5,000, assisted with all medical equipment bulk buys and any purchases no matter how small. Rodgerick wrote the policies according to Joint Commission Environment of Care Elements of Performance, FDA and hospital standards. Rodgerick also performs reviews of over 250 million in repair and maintenance spend by taking raw data and putting it into easy to understand departments where best practices can be discussed to reduce operating costs. We have a network of trained Biomedical and Imaging Technicians that perform incoming inspections, PMs and repairs.

Rodgerick Williams assisted with starting two Boys and Girls Clubs and his own nonprofit organization, Organization ARAP. Rodgerick and his team at the Medical Equipment People look at medical equipment service as a part of service for the healthcare team and the community. Rodgerick understands that clinicians need their tools to provide medical care to the patients they serve and the tools are mainly medical equipment.
